Sometimes it's not possible to attend a funeral in person, for a variety of reasons; Distance, Illness, Finances, Air Travel disruptions due to volcanic ash, or otherwise.
By having the ceremony recorded, both they will have an opportunity to view the Funeral Ceremony at a future date, in the privacy of their own home.
Recording the service also allows children who are too young to understand what has happened, it gives them the opportunity to view the service later in life, with adult eyes.
You get the chance to hear again and again the wonderful things spoken about the deceased during the service and eulogy.
I realise a funeral dvd is not everyone's "cup of tea", you either like the idea or not, those who I have spoken to appreciate the sentiment behind this kind of video and realise that it can be of benifit to people in different ways.
This greatly depends on what you would like, to begin we suggest only the Church Service is recorded. This is done in such a discreet way, that most people attending the Funeral will not even be aware of the camera and that the Funeral Service is being recorded on video, most times we try to record from the Gallery in the church* .
The graveside service is not attended unless requested. *(if there is one, if not other arrangements will have to be discussed)
We realise its not the type of video you invite the neighbours round on a Saturday night with popcorn etc, or you rush home and stick it on as soon as you get it, but in time it does become a family tresure, a memory, a glimpse of the past for generations to view in the future.
Older relatives who not have been able to attend and younger family members who are perhaps not yet born, will both see and hear the entire Funeral Service.
This is a wonderful way to remember a loved one and can become a tremendous help in dealing with one's loss.
We capture the service discretly and professionally.
We usually arrive an hour before the Funeral is due to begin, we very quickly set up our equipment in a pre arranged place (usually a gallery where possible).
We wait for the Funeral to begin, we record the entire service and then wait until people have left the church and grounds before removing any equipment.
We stay in contact with a designated family member in relation to music choice, additional photos etc.
Additional photos & video clips maybe added to the service video afterwards if you wish at an additional cost.
You receive a single copy of the Funeral Service DVD with the option of additional copies see pricing menu below.
The DVD will be presented in a specially designed printed cover and printed disc.

Additional Photo Inclusion: 1 to 10 photos (No Charge) / each additional photo after that - €1/photo
Additional DVD Copies: 1 - 4 = €25 each or 5 for €100 (Aditional DVDs can only be ordered by the designated family member)
5 - 10 = €20
10 - 20 = €18
20 - 50 = €15
Memorial Tribute DVDs are a wonderful keepsake, they are lovely to create and be involved in.
As a client you may wish to include old photos or old video footage of a loved one, you may select certain music.
You have the final say on everything pertaining to the dvd.
We offer advice and suggestions as to the structure and pace but the final decision is yours.
You may choose to work on a loved one's Memorial Tribute over a number of days or weeks if so we will make ourselves available to you to provide the most personal service possible.

Photos: 1 to 10 Photos (No Charge) additional photos are charged €1 /photo if actual photos are given .50cent /photo if in digital format. (cd, usb or email)
Editing Time: €50 for the first hour - €25 / hr after that. DVDs are charged same as above.
In order to save us time and you money we encourage you to have all photos to be included scaned and on a disc or usb stick
